The purpose of the conference:

Reintegration of the work and personality of Dimitrie Cantemir in contemporary European and universal culture .


All papers that will be presented during the Conference will be published in the volume dedicated to the event, as a supplement to Cogito Journal in EBSCO, PROQUEST, INDEX COERNICUS.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE:
- The knowledge and research of the work of Dimitrie Cantemir from the perspective of encyclopedism and universalism;

- The approach of personality and work of Dimitrie Cantemir in the history of ideas from Romania and in European context;
- The reception of Dimitrie Cantemir in modernity;

- The modernity of the thoughtfulness of Dimitrie Cantemir in the context of preoccupations for modernizing the Romanian education.
